In this week-in-my-life vlog, I’m taking you through real SAHM days with two little girls—messy, sweet, and very “we’re just doing our best.” I finally did my first postpartum workout (and yes, I was nervous). I’m still scared to jump back into intense strength training because I don’t want my milk supply to drop like it did with Brecklin, so I tried low-impact Pilates/postnatal yoga… while my dogs and toddler made it basically impossible. It wasn’t much, but it was something, and you have to start somewhere. We also started working on sleep again—crib naps and nights for Blakeley after she was leaning back into co-sleeping. I shared the little wins (like her sleeping until 4–5 a.m. and taking a crib nap) and the reality (me going in to replace the paci a few times). I also showed what we’re eating, quick mom-life meals, walks when the weather cooperates, and a fun Valentine’s craft with Brecklin. And I tested a bathtub filter for Blakeley’s skin and could genuinely tell a difference after one bath—no exaggeration. I paid full price, I’m not working with them, and I’ll update again because I know it’s pricey. Plus, I introduced a formula bottle before Valentine’s Day so I’m not leaving her with that being the first time she tries it.
