Good morning you guys—this vlog is a real one. I’m sharing what life has looked like lately with two little girls, sickness in the house, and me just feeling so stressed and overwhelmed. I’m doing the normal mom stuff (breakfast, naps, cleaning, baby food prep, toddler activities), but I’m also being honest about how quickly my mood can flip and how hard it’s been mentally—especially on gloomy weather days when we can’t get outside. I open up about what I think is postpartum depression/anxiety and postpartum rage, and how it can come out of nowhere. I talk about my biggest triggers (yes, even the dogs—postpartum pet aversion is a real thing), and how hard it is to even find time to get evaluated when taking both kids anywhere feels like an actual disaster. The biggest takeaways for me right now are simple but real: getting outside for a walk helps so much, having a clean space helps my brain feel less chaotic, and reminding myself “this isn’t forever” is everything.
