Dang it—this vlog was one of those real-life SAHM mornings where we’re out the door quick. I got ready, bundled the girls up because it was super foggy and chilly, and took Blakeley to her physical therapy appointment. I’ve been noticing she gets really tense in her shoulders/arms, and I just wanted to make sure everything was okay. The PT honestly made me feel so much better—she said Blakeley is basically “pretty much perfect,” and we just need to help her build more stability in her core instead of relying on her back muscles. She gave us simple things to do at home (like sitting her slightly off-center for cross-reaching) for 10–20 minutes a day. Then it was all the in-between mom stuff: trying not to cosleep anymore (and being exhausted), making my protein coffee, and replacing my screen protector after I absolutely wrecked my phone—twice. I also shared a little heart-to-heart about feeling guilty when I fall behind on my Bible study in a busy season, because I know a lot of moms are running on empty too. After a Zoom meeting, I started packing for our road trip, figuring out sleep plans, and doing the classic “I’m packing for a week even though we’re gone 2.5 days” thing—because blowouts and spills are so real.
