I started with the eyes using the Trixie Cosmetics collab palette (with Britney) and created a smoky burgundy moment with a little glitter because… what better way to amp up a look than some glitz and glamour? I layered a super cooling, gold Tower 28 shadow stick for an easy half cut-crease vibe, topped it with shimmer from the palette, and finished with NYX glitter primer + that chunky-but-stunning glitter shade. For skin, I tested the Glow Recipe Prickly Pear Peptide Mucin Serum (viral for a reason, but whew… the smell on mine was giving rotted pears), then mixed MAC’s new liquid highlighter into my Urban Decay foundation to make it more glowy and skin-tint-ish. I tried Too Faced Cloud Crush whipped lip + cheek colors for an ombré blush moment (cute, innovative, more matte-satin), and then we had a fail with the Revolution setting powder—creasing and shiny in the wrong way. The One/Size finishing powder actually smoothed me out, but the number one product of the video was Danessa Myricks’ blurring setting spray—my skin looked so airbrushed and flawless after, like she really did her thing.
