In this video I’m walking you through a full face of makeup tips and tricks I seriously wish I knew sooner—because it’s always the tiny, itty bitty details that take your beat from “cute” to “base is on 10.” I’ve been doing makeup for 13 years (I know, I know), and I’ve made every mistake possible—so I’m giving you the nitty-gritty steps I usually cut out of my routines. This is beginner-friendly, but also perfect if you want to elevate your glam and get that flawless, soft glam finish. I start with my “trend of threes”: three primers for hydration, grip, and blur (especially if you’re oily in the T-zone like me). Then I show you my foundation trick—using a makeup plate and a flat brush to paint the product on first for the most even coverage, then blending with a damp sponge. After that, I get into my triple concealer technique for a snatched ombré under-eye, plus my setting powder hack (rub the puff into your palm first so you don’t get patchy). I also share blush blurring, waterline cleanup with a Q-tip, lash and liner cleanup tips, a matte-lip prep trick for crisp liner, “glossing your liner,” and my two-setting-spray routine: one to melt, one to seal and lock everything in.
