In this video I did a FULL face under $100 at Walmart, and y’all… I really thought it was about to be “slay the house down boots,” but it turned into a very honest drugstore makeup challenge. I skipped buying brow products for the total (because I wasn’t spending my budget coin on brows), but I still told you my go-to affordable duo: NYX Micro Brow Pencil + NYX Brow Glue Crazy Lift. Then I went in with the Wet n Wild PhotoFocus Matte Primer, and at first it was tea—nice blur and it actually felt creamy—but I started noticing some peeling, which immediately had me like… oh no. For complexion, I tried the CoverGirl Clean Invisible Foundation and it blended like butter with a skin-like satin finish (honestly it felt more like a tint). The Wet n Wild Incognito Concealer surprised me with coverage, but the CoverGirl Clean Invisible loose powder was the main issue for me—no talc, so my under eyes looked more textured, kind of silvery/ashy, and I creased fast (plus my eyes were watering). I did my usual “make it work” moment with NYX Buttermelt Bronzer (non-negotiable), bronzer-as-eyeshadow, and I tested a couple new-to-me items that were hit or miss (that CoverGirl blush… ash city, and it smelled like old people makeup). The lip combo ended up being the best part, and I wrapped it all up with a Wet n Wild setting mist that had a weird expired-florally scent. Overall: I’m showing you what’s worth it, what’s not, and how to stretch a Walmart budget without wasting your coin.
