About This Video

In this video, I turn a simple foam box into a wonderful waterfall with an ancient vibe—like a tiny old brick wall with rain falling on roof tiles. I start by drawing brick lines on foam, then I cut the lines with a hot wire cutter and sand the surface so the cement can grab and stick well. After that, I coat one side with cement, glue two foam sheets together to make a stronger wall, and trim it until the shape feels “aged” and natural. Next, I carve a square tile floor at the base, add a small window, and build a hexagon foam pot that I hollow out and cover completely in cement inside and out. For that weathered look, I chip the rim a little. I also build a roof ledge, recycle an old cement board into roof tiles, and assemble PVC pipes for the waterfall system on top. Finally, I paint everything brick red, dry brush gray, add mossy green touches, and finish the window with black and a hint of gold. Once the pump is connected and the jar is filled with water and tiny aquatic plants, the waterfall flows—peaceful, relaxing, and made from recycled materials step by step.
