Hey everyone—today my Dad & Son DIY team is back, and this time we’re building a gorgeous mini dog mansion as a surprise gift for my little sister’s new puppy. I start by clearing the space, then I build a solid wooden foundation frame and fill it with sand—because a strong base makes a strong house. After that, I lay the bricks carefully to form the walls, keeping everything neat and precise so the structure stays clean and square. To make it extra special, I repurpose an old concrete slab into a rooftop deck—perfect for sunbathing. Then I coat the walls with cement on both sides for strength and a smooth finish, and I pour a clean, cool concrete floor that’s easy to maintain. For the roof, I cut the wooden beams, adjust the wall slightly to fit the frame, and install the roof. Finally, I add the fun details: a tiny staircase, window, safety railing, a bone name plate, and even a planter by the window for that luxury villa vibe. I finish with sky blue on the roof, pastel pink walls, green trim, and a shimmery gold bone—then it’s reveal time.
