About This Video

Hey, welcome back—this time I tried something totally new: my first underground house build with a green grass roof, and I wrapped it with a relaxing fish pond vibe. I started the classic way: sketch it out, then dig. Honestly, digging was the hardest part, and the “unexpected result” hit right after—sun came out and my foundation turned into a surprise swimming pool. I had to bring in a pump to rescue the site, dry it out, then refill with sand to prep a solid base. After that, I built the walls and split the space into two zones: one for the house and one for the fish tank. I sealed the aquarium base, poured the house foundation, and added an extra cement layer on the tank walls for strength. With formwork in place, I poured concrete pillars, removed the molds, and we divided and conquered—stairs on one side, wall smoothing on the other. For the natural look, I used bamboo panels and a bamboo roof frame, layered it like a countryside hut, then slathered clay and topped it with lush green grass. I finished with a chimney, glass walls for the view, hooked up plumbing and a pump, soaked the aquarium for 7 days, used chopped banana trunks to remove cement smell, then added gravel, fresh water, and released the fish.
