About This Video

In this video, I show a creative cement idea for a garden corner—turning raw cement into a mini artistic aquarium with a fairy-tale landscape. I start by building two symmetrical sandbanks, then I lay wooden planks to form the bottom and pour cement, smoothing it out. To make it rock solid, I add steel wire reinforcement, and after a day I remove the frame. Then I stack mini cement bricks for the walls, coat the outside with cement, and carve each brick by hand, before coating the inside and bottom too. The fun part is building the mini landscape: I make two wavy cement slabs, set them in place, and build a bridge and mountain scene. I carve mountain shapes from foam, cover them in cement, and drizzle cement slurry from a plastic bag to get a natural rock texture. After painting—vibrant orange walls, deep navy landscape, mossy green mist, white highlights, and a bronze-gold bridge—I install the pump and a front glass panel. I fill it and let it soak 3–5 days to remove the cement smell, plant greenery, add white quartz sand for a pathway, then gravel, fresh water, and finally the fish. It’s more complex than usual, but totally worth it—real art in the backyard.
