About This Video

In this build, I show you how I turn old bicycle tires into a super cool, super unique waterfall aquarium—step by step, using simple materials and a lot of patience. I start by laying one tire on cardboard, filling it with cement, and adding rebar so the base is extra strong. After it dries, I stack more tires on top, drill holes, and lock everything onto preset steel rods. To keep the shape and prevent collapse, I fill the inside with foam, then coat the inside and bottom with cement for a solid tank body. Next, I paint the top tiers white and give the bottom tier a cool blue finish. For the waterfall, I assemble PVC pipes, seal all gaps with cement, then sand everything silky smooth after 24 hours. My favorite part is making the waterfall tiers from an old shirt dipped in a cement-water mix—layering cement 3–5 times so each tier stays solid. After drilling the center hole and painting a light refreshing blue, I place the waterfall in the middle, soak the tank 3–5 days to remove the cement smell, add gravel, refill with clean water, and finally release the fish for that relaxing trickling-water vibe.
