Hey fam, what’s up? In this build I switched things up with a one-of-a-kind idea: a mushroom-shaped waterfall aquarium that looks like a mini fairy tale garden. Dad and I started from the ground up by casting a rock-solid cement tank base, adding steel wire for durability, then building the walls with split bricks set at a clean 30° angle. After that, we plastered smooth cement inside and out, then added another layer to make it strong and give it that fancy finish. Once the aquarium body was done, we went full “mushroom time.” Brick by brick, we stacked the base and stock, reinforced it with steel wire, broken bricks, and cement, then sculpted realistic, flowy roots. For the cap, Dad cut a decorative tile into an oval, drilled holes, and ran plastic pipes through them—future water spouts, baby. We sand-filled, plastered the cap, pressed in round patterns for a cool design, then painted everything with that mystical navy blue, pastel blue and poppy orange, and warm earthy brown. After installing the pump, we cured the cement by soaking for 2 days, then added gravel, planted cacti on top, and finally added fish for the complete magical waterfall tank.
