In this video I’m checking out the TORRAS Ostand Series cases for the iPhone 15 lineup, and I’m mainly comparing the standard Ostand vs the Ostand R. A lot of you ask what the real differences are, so I go through the upsides, downsides, price, and which one I personally prefer. Both cases are MagSafe compatible using N52 magnets with an 18N magnetic force, so they’re properly strong for car mounts, bike mounts, and MagSafe power banks. The standard Ostand is the more budget-friendly option (around $35) and it’s still a really solid first case. You get a strong kickstand that works in portrait and landscape, wireless charging works fine, and you’ve got 12ft military-grade drop protection with SGS certification plus TORRAS Gen 4 shock cushions and extra edge cushioning. The main downside is the stand angles are limited. The Ostand R feels more premium. It also has 12ft drop protection, but you get a fully adjustable rotating stand (360 rotation) which gives you way more viewing angles—on a desk, kitchen counter, FaceTime calls, whatever. You also get metal buttons and TORRAS includes extra color button sets (orange and green), which is a really nice touch for customizing the look.
