About This Video

In this video I’m checking out the Mairdi M891 wireless communication headset, made for people doing calls all day—work from home, office, call centers, Zoom meetings, FaceTime, the whole thing. If you’re using AirPods or big bulky headphones and it’s just not the best solution for conference calls, this is a budget-friendly option that’s actually designed for talking. I unbox it, go through what you get (dock, USB-C cable, pouch, guides), and I show the mono version I picked in black (there are other colors depending on mono/duo). What I really like is how practical it is: it’s super lightweight, has soft padding, and the mic rotates 330° so you can wear it on either ear. The dock is also a 2-in-1 because it doubles as a Bluetooth adapter/dongle for PCs that don’t have Bluetooth, which is a really nice touch. After testing, pairing was simple, and the Qualcomm Bluetooth chip lets me connect two devices at the same time—my MacBook and my phone—then it switches seamlessly between them. Mic quality is nice and clear with noise canceling, there’s an LED indicator (blue connected, red when active), and for around $50 it’s honestly a solid upgrade if your priority is calls, not music or gaming.
