In this video, I tested the GQLQR Smart AI Mouse (Qmouse) to see if it’s actually useful or just another “AI gimmick.” Straight out of the box, I loved the minimal dark packaging and the super clean design. The fabric coating feels soft but grippy, the clicks are light and quiet (which I personally prefer), and the ergonomics surprised me—there’s a cushioned feel that makes it comfortable for long sessions. It’s also ridiculously portable; the weight is basically “egg-light,” so it’s easy to throw in a bag for cafe days or travel. Where it gets interesting is the feature set. The floating AI widget is genuinely clutch for my workflow—when I’m writing scripts in Notion, I can pull up ChatGPT/DeepSeek without leaving full screen, then drag and resize the widget wherever I want. The speech-to-text and translation button was honestly impressive in my testing, and I’ve been using it to reply to emails faster (just don’t move the mouse while you’re recording). Add in customizable hotkeys, one-click screenshots with editing + auto text extraction, and you’ve got a productivity-first mouse that still holds up as a solid daily driver—even before the AI stuff. At around $50, I think it’s fairly priced and a real alternative to something like Logitech’s AI Edition M750.
