It’s been a while since I’ve done a proper desk setup transformation, and honestly, my old workspace was desperate for a refresh. After a couple of crazy weeks with the 17 Pro Max launch and everything else Apple threw at us, I finally rebuilt my office into what I’d actually call a “dream desk” setup before 2026. The core of the upgrade is Vernal—once I started looking at their desk accessories, I genuinely went down a rabbit hole. I unboxed everything, laid it all out on the floor (very professional, I know), and built the Vernal standing desk plus matching storage pieces to make the whole room feel like real furniture, not a basic industrial frame with a slab of wood. From there, I focused on the things that actually change how you work day-to-day: cable management, storage, lighting, and ergonomics. I added a desk shelf (essential for me), a filing cabinet and side cabinet to control the creator-clutter, and finished the space with IKEA touches like the Fejka plant and the Tvarhand lamp for that warm minimalist vibe. I also tested the OBSBOT Meet SE AI webcam, and for the price it’s seriously impressive—smooth high frame rate video, smart auto-framing, gesture control, and useful features like background blur. The whole setup is powered by my M4 Mac mini with a BenQ hybrid dock so I can switch between work and PS5 easily—clean, functional, and zero regrets.
