It never gets old, especially if you get creative with toppings. If made the right way, porridge will fill you up, providing you with a slow release of energy throughout the morning. WINTER PORRIDGE - GINGER & BERRY SERVES 2: 50g oats Approx. 200ml unsweetened almond milk (add more if too dry) 1 heaped tbsp milled flaxseed Half a thumb sized amount of grated ginger Large handful of raspberries 2 tsp cacao nibs Squeeze of honey Put the oats and milk into a small pan, stirring regularly over a medium heat for 3-5 minutes until the porridge is creamy and thickened. You may need to add more milk. Add in the flaxseed bit by bit and stir in. Next, add the ginger and stir in. Mix in half of the raspberries and stir until the oats go pink! Transfer into a bowl and top with the rest of the raspberries, as well as the cacao nibs and honey.
