Today I’m taking y’all with me for a full photoshoot prep + GRWM and behind-the-scenes for my hair accessory brand. It’s been a minute since I’ve done a real vlog, but I had a super last-minute studio booking (like… booked it the night before) because I needed to shoot a promo video for my new launch and take advantage of the space to create extra content. I was already dressed because I was running low on time, so we jumped straight into makeup—using my Lancôme base, Morphe Toasted Almond, and Dermablend Banana Illuminating Powder—plus a quick, blended nude eye that wasn’t giving cut-crease. I’m literally doing everything: designer, videographer, photographer… all the things. My boyfriend came through to help me get clips (because doing it by myself is a lot), and I also pre-planned by writing down the exact shots I wanted so the studio time could be smooth. For hair, I prepped it the night before (wet + mousse) and brought jam, gel, and curly extensions/clip-ins so I could adjust once I got there. The studio lighting was amazing—natural light is a must for the kind of photos I’m trying to get—so I’m excited about how everything came out. I wrapped, came home, ate, and then started going through all the footage because I created a ton of content. And yes—mark your calendars for September 16th.
