In this video I’m walking y’all through a full, step-by-step event makeup look that’s beginner-friendly but still gives drama—especially on the eyes. Most of my looks are straight to the point (usually like 2–3 shadows), so this was me stepping out of my comfort zone and really building the eye up layer by layer. I start with the eyes first using Juvia’s Place concealer as my base, then I go from a soft transition shade to deeper crease shades, pack a bold blue on the lid, and top it with a little gold for that extra pizzazz. I finish it off with liner and some beauty supply store lashes (don’t ask me the style because I truly couldn’t tell you). After the eyes, I get into a quick, slightly messy-full brow (I’m not into super structured brows), then move into complexion. My face was already prepped, and I use Huda Beauty foundation in Gingerbread—just know it was giving “summer shade” because your girl is in full winter. I balance everything out with Dermablend Banana powder (no baking), then go in with my Morphe face palette for powder contour + blush to get that snatched look. We finish with an under-eye smoke using the contour shade, a MAC lipstick with a deep brown pencil, and setting spray to lock it all in.
