In this video I’m showing y’all how I wear my curly hair with clip-ins when I want that extra length and volume without doing the most. Since I chopped my hair off, these clip-ins have literally become my favorite—especially when I’m going for a particular look that just needs more length to hit right. I place a few clip-ins in the back first (and yes… I definitely should’ve washed them because I’ve used them multiple times), then I add one more closer to the center to give me that fuller shape. Once the clip-ins are in, I focus on blending so everything looks seamless. I create a center part, add water, and then go in with gel to define my curls—plus everything smells so good it’s like walking around smelling like a tropical island. After that, I use mousse to help combine my natural hair with the clip-ins so they bend together and look like one texture. I pop the back into a ponytail while I style the front, then let it set (I sat under the dryer for about two hours) so the definition lasts and the whole look comes together.
