My face is already prepped, and I show you how I like to work in small sections with foundation so it doesn’t dry down on me. I also do a little color correcting around my mouth with a full coverage concealer situation, and yes—I’m using my makeup to help blend my wig up top too, because the lace is melting, okay. If you’re oily like me, the big takeaway is how I set strategically: I’m not “baking,” I’m really pressing powder into the areas that get shiny—under my eyes, around my nose, and on my nose—so everything stays seamless. I go in with contour first (my fave shade is toffee), then blush, then concealer so the blend looks softer, especially on a round face. I keep eyes pretty basic (because I don’t care to do eyeshadow like that), but I still give y’all a little bronze moment, lashes, smoked under-eye, and a simple lip to finish it off. Then I’m like… where am I going? Nowhere—just taking selfies.
