In this video I take the Meepo V3 Max out for a proper real-world ride and range test, because specs are cool but they don’t tell you what happens when you’re actually pushing the board. First I go over the design: it’s simple, clean, and honestly one of the nicest-looking decks I’ve seen—conservative colors, a handle (not perfectly balanced, but comfy), nose/tail guards, and that hub motor setup that looks really good with a lot of PU around the wheel. Then I get into the hub motor reality: less maintenance, quieter than belt drive, better waterproofing, and a cleaner setup—but you give up wheel options and you feel more vibration, especially on rough roads. I rode city streets, then climbed a legit mountain (about 2.5 km of constant uphill) at around 90–95 kg rider weight. Uphill power wasn’t insane (about 20 km/h pinned), but it made it up, and the regen on the way down helps a bit. End result: I got 21 km total range riding fast (30–35 km/h average when possible), and the overall riding experience is easily the best hub motor e-skate I’ve tried—yeah, “king of hub motors” fits.
