About This Video

I took the Maxfind Max X out in real conditions and, of course, it started raining on the way. I couldn’t film the ride because I was getting soaked, but that ended up being a pretty solid “test” on its own: this board has very good waterproofing, and those 107mm wheels felt surprisingly confident on light wet roads. Still—wet pavement is where most people fall, so even if these wheels help a lot, you’ve got to ride smart. In the video I unbox everything you get (remote, charger, tools, stickers, manual) and then I break down the design and ride feel. The deck is a full plastic unibody (no sandpaper-style grip), which sounds weird until you ride it—plastic absorbs vibrations really well, so it’s comfortable on rougher roads. It’s also insanely stable at speed; I was hitting up to around 45 km/h, and the trucks + big wheels combo just feels planted. Acceleration is fast enough to have fun, but not so aggressive that it’s going to launch beginners into a crash. Add in the app to tune speed per gear and brake intensity, plus low-power lights, and you’ve got a “pro beginner” longboard with legit range—30–35 km even with me (6’ tall, 200+ lb) riding aggressive.
