About This Video

In this video I test and review the Gamakay TK75 Pro, a budget-friendly jump from a plastic mechanical keyboard to a full CNC aluminum board without breaking the bank. Gamakay sent it over for review, but like always, they didn’t tell me what to say—these are my honest thoughts after unboxing, checking the build, and doing a sound test. Right away, the TK75 Pro feels super solid and hefty at 1.8 lbs, with an all-aluminum volume knob and big grippy rubber feet that feel like they’ll actually last. What surprised me most is how “premium” the stock experience is. The KTT Hyacinth linear switches, PBT Cherry profile keycaps, and the multiple layers of acoustic foam come together for a satisfying marbly, creamy typing feel—easily one of the best stock experiences I’ve had so far. Design-wise, it’s bare and minimal in the best way: smooth rounded frame, minimal bezels, and branding that stays out of your face. My main downside is the lack of QMK/VIA support. Gamakay’s software can do keybinds, macros, and RGB, but it can feel clunky and I’ve seen these kinds of keyboard apps get flagged by antivirus before. If you don’t care about deep customization, I honestly think the TK75 Pro is a killer value and it’s now my daily driver on my dark desk setup.
