About This Video

Looking for a decent headset for gaming or creating that fits your budget and doesn’t look as tacky as hell? In this video, I unbox and review the FIFINE AmpliGame H9 and break down what you’re actually getting for the money. I go over the build, comfort, and design (which I genuinely love here): it’s minimal, clean, and doesn’t scream “gamer” with obnoxious RGB. The frame feels solid and light with metal in the right places, and the ear cups are plush enough that I can wear them for hours without feeling like my skull is getting squeezed. I also tested the sound in real-world use—deep house music, zombie movies, Marvel Rivals, and even editing videos. The 50mm drivers deliver solid clarity in the mids and highs, the bass is decent (not the best), and it can get loud. The detachable mic is a nice touch if you want to switch between “ready to record” and “just listening,” and the included USB extension/control box works like a USB sound card—super helpful for me since I broke my laptop’s 3.5mm jack. I also talk about the downsides: the USB controller feels cheap, the 7.1 virtual surround mode is pretty lackluster and can kill bass, and the omni mic can pick up background noise like mechanical keyboards or fans. Overall though, for the usual ~$37.99 (sometimes under $30), it’s a lot of value for budget gamers, streamers, and creators.
