In this video, I walk you through exactly how to print orders from Shopify step by step—starting with what “printing an order” actually means. Most of the time, you’re printing a packing slip (or checkout slip/invoice) so you can include delivery info and order details inside the package. I show you the quickest way to do this using Shopify’s built-in options so you can keep everything consistent and branded without overcomplicating it. Inside your Shopify admin, I go to Orders, open any order, and use More actions to print the packing slip (or print the full order page if you’re doing record keeping). Shopify automatically generates a default packing slip with quantities, items, shipping details, order number, date, and your store branding/contact info. If you’re dropshipping, I also explain how you can download the packing slip as a PDF and forward it to your supplier (CJdropshipping or any third-party provider) so every order goes out with the same slip. Finally, if your default slips feel a bit hollow and you want to “elevate” them, I show how to find an app like Order Printer Pro in the Shopify App Store. It lets you control what info shows up (tax, totals, payment method, shipping rates) and print/export PDFs—just keep in mind free plans often cap around 50 orders, so I recommend upgrading only when your revenue justifies it.
