About This Video

In this video, I show you my simple workaround for creating multiple “collection pages” on Shopify—especially when you want something that feels like sub-collections, even though Shopify doesn’t natively support true subcollections. The idea is to first create all the collections you need inside Products > Collections (I do manual collections in the walkthrough), then build a parent landing page that acts like a directory and routes shoppers into the right collection. After the collections are set, I jump into Online Store > Pages and create a main page (like “Women’s Clothing and Accessories”), then duplicate it to quickly spin up supporting pages. Next, I go into Customize and use a Multi-column section on that parent page to display two clickable tiles—one for Clothing and one for Accessories—complete with images and clean layouts (I remove extra text and even hide the page title when needed). The key step is linking each column directly to the relevant collection URL, not just another page. Finally, I wire everything into Navigation by adding a main menu item for the parent page and nesting the two collections underneath as dropdown items. That’s how you get a clean, scalable “multiple collection pages” experience without extra apps.
