In this video I’m unboxing and properly checking out the new Thinborne cases for the iPhone 17 Pro Max, and honestly… these new colourways have changed the game for me. I’ve used Thinborne for ages in the classic black/grey aramid fibre, super thin, super clean, and it’s always been one of my favourite case styles because it keeps the phone feeling like a phone. This time they sent over two new colours: Black Gold and Navy, and straight away you can see they’re pushing things forward with the new MagSafe logo and that “Minimal. Thin. Light.” branding. I show you the fit, the cutouts, the camera protection, and what it’s like with a screen protector on (there is a tiny bit where it sits over the corners). MagSafe is still absolutely fantastic—strong enough that it literally yanked out of my hand—and the case is ridiculously light at 22g. I also love that the bottom has proper coverage, because most thin cases leave that area open. If you want a thin aramid case for aesthetics without turning your iPhone into a brick, these are a massive win—especially the Navy on the Navy phone.
