What’s going on everyone — in this video I’m getting ThinBorne’s updated Aramid Fiber thin cases fitted up on the three phones I’m carrying into 2026: my iPhone 17 Pro Max, iPhone Air, and the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7. ThinBorne have basically taken what they’re known for (that super thin weave case) and finally started doing proper colours in the weave — and the new Deep Navy is the one I focus on here. I also show the other new options like Scarlet (red) and Black Gold, plus the standard black/grey. I go through the little changes I actually care about: the updated packaging (especially for the screen protector), the included camera lens protector, and the fact you can now properly see the MagSafe magnet array instead of it just being an embedded line. Then I do my usual quick MagSafe tests with the original Apple MagSafe Battery Pack and the Nomad Base Stand across all three phones — including the big one, the Fold 7 — and I had no issues at all. If you’re after a case that keeps bulk down but still looks premium (especially around the camera housing), this new navy colourway genuinely looks fantastic.
