In this video I’m testing Samsung’s new Qi2 magnetic wireless battery pack on my S26 Ultra (mine’s the shady silver… silver shadow, but you know what I mean). The big problem I’ve had for years with MagSafe-style packs on Samsung is the camera bump—most packs don’t sit right, they hang off, and the charging can be hit and miss. Samsung still hasn’t put the magnets in the phone itself, so you’re relying on a MagSafe case, and that’s where this pack gets interesting because it’s actually shaped to clear the camera area. Out the box you get a USB‑C to USB‑C cable, the pack itself, and you’ve got a built-in kickstand which is genuinely handy for watching content on a plane or just propping it up on a desk. I slapped it onto a MagSafe case and it grabbed on nicely and started charging straight away. I also checked the camera situation and, surprisingly, it’s not as bad as it looks—most lenses still seem usable. I tested wired output too, and yes, you can charge another phone with the cable while also charging a phone on the magnetic side. It’s only 5,000mAh, so for me it’s more of a “daily top-up / theme park day” accessory—stick it on in the morning, deplete the pack first, then you’ve still got your phone sitting at 100% for later.
