About This Video

In this video I’m unboxing Pitaka’s exclusive limited edition Christmas box, and inside it is the festive “Threads of Winter Scarlet” ultra-slim case for the iPhone 17 Pro Max. The big headline here is it’s numbered and limited to just 6,000 worldwide, so it’s not just a fancy box—this actual case is part of a proper limited run. I walk you through the packaging, the message inside the lid, the included spacer/installation guide, and yes… Pitaka even chucked in a pair of Christmas socks to match the vibe. Once I get to the case itself, I show you the details up close: the snowflake pattern, the gold/bronze camera plateau, the little reindeer inside the MagSafe ring, and the serial/“Christmas” numbering on the camera area (mine shows C13). I also do a quick weight check (29g for the case) and test MagSafe with a battery pack and on the Nomad Base Stand—no issues at all, and Pitaka’s MagSafe is still properly strong. I also point out the exposed areas (ports, volume/action) and that the lip sits above my screen protector, so it’ll happily go face-down on a table.
