About This Video

In this video I’m unboxing and fitting the DBRAND Prism 2.0 tempered glass screen protector on my Nintendo Switch 2. I picked it up while I was in the USA because I spotted it in Best Buy, and I’ve been taking my Switch 2 away with me for work (Monday and Tuesday nights) to play a bit of Mario Kart Worlds. I’m a big believer that if you’re chucking a console in a case, docking it, and leaving it on charge, you need to protect that screen—especially after I had an old PSP incident years ago in a hotel room. I go through what you get in the box (two protectors, installer tray, squeegee, microfiber cloth and alcohol wipes) and I follow the install process step-by-step. I’ll be honest, I clean screens “my way” with the alcohol wipe and microfiber, and the install really is as close to “idiot proof” as it gets—tray on, pull tab, swipe down the line, wait, then peel. I did get a couple of bubbles, but they squeegeed out easily, and touch sensitivity was absolutely fine afterwards. End result: a properly protected Switch 2 screen, and it handled my little “Nintendo knife” scratch test with no marks at all.
