In this video, I tested PaperPal, an AI academic writing tool built especially for researchers, students, thesis writers, and even bloggers who write academic-style content. I walked you through the clean dashboard, how to create a new web document or import an existing file, and how you can also use PaperPal inside MS Word, Google Docs, or Overleaf using their apps. Then I showed the language suggestions (it works like Grammarly for grammar and punctuation), plus the rewrite tools where you can paraphrase, improve fluency, simplify, trim, change tone, add synonyms, or make your writing more academic. After that, I covered the research and citation workflow: you can cite selected text, pull sources, read abstracts, save papers into your Library, and insert citations directly into your document. I also demonstrated the “Write” feature (keep writing based on your text) and the Research feature where you can ask questions and insert answers with citations, without jumping to Google all the time. Finally, I showed Chat with PDF—upload a paper, get a summary, and ask questions like weaknesses/strengths to save a lot of time. I also explained pricing: the free plan can do what I demonstrated, and the yearly plan can be as low as about $4.6/month (monthly is much higher).
