In this living alone diary, I’m taking y’all through a real day in my life as I’m still getting settled after moving from Michigan to Chicago. I start the day trying to get myself together (yes, Starbucks was supposed to save me… and it was giving watery), then I run around looking for home decor and hygiene essentials. Ross didn’t have the big painting I wanted for above my couch, Target was pure chaos, and I was honestly fighting to just film and not get in my head. I also talk about that weird “buyer’s guilt” that hits after a big move—because even when you’re buying what you actually need, it can still feel heavy. Back at home, I do a little haul (work pants, soaps, lotions, razors, vitamins) and show y’all my new decompress hobby: coloring and bullet journaling. Then I get into a full everything shower + skincare reset because my face was DRY. The second half of the vlog is me pushing through anxiety to take myself on a solo art date to the Art Institute of Chicago. I was a ball of nerves, but I did it—and it ended up being so inspiring and honestly just really beautiful to be in that space.
