I headed to the Adventure Overland Show 2024 with a mate because we’d both been looking forward to it, expecting a solid lineup of exhibitors and brands. Honestly though, it wasn’t the greatest show. The organisation felt a bit lacking and a bunch of the companies we thought were going to be there just… weren’t, which was pretty disappointing. That said, it wasn’t a total waste. It was still good to get out, catch up with friends, have a camp, and see a couple of decent vehicles (worth a watch just to see the big 79, to be fair). The highlight for me was spotting a drawer system that should fit into my 79. It’s actually made for a Discovery, but after measuring up it looks like it’ll go in—wheel arches are the main thing to work around. The setup itself looks really nice: plywood with a plastic coating and smooth drawers, and it’s from a small company called HexaMoto.
