About This Video

In this video I take a proper look at Infinity N5 and ask the question a lot of Warhammer-brained hobbyists quietly mutter: should we worry about it? Infinity is a cyberpunk skirmish game (usually up to 15 models, and you can play with as few as three) that’s been going for 20 years, and it’s doing three things most games don’t. Shooting is genuinely deadly, your opponent reacts back with Automatic Reaction Orders, and you can stack your Order tokens onto whoever you like—so it plays less like “I go, you go” and more like a constant, sweaty info-war where one bad angle gets you doing the jiggling dance of death. But yes—there’s a butt. Actually two. Infinity has a reputation for breaking people because it really is hard to learn: a huge web of skills, equipment, ammo types, hacking programs, visibility zones, camouflage tricks, and counters-to-counters. Then it adds private lists, decoys, hidden deployment, and sectorials that can absolutely trip up impulse buyers who just want “the blue ones.” Still, the minis are absurdly good, the full rules are free as a living document, the army builder app is free, proxy rules are tournament-legal, and the TAG kits in Unicor plastic are a home run. If you’ve got the time and the temperament for a deep game, Infinity rewards you like few others.
