About This Video

Games Workshop’s back catalogue is basically a magical vault of nostalgic treasure, and in this video I’m doing a simple thing: I’m wishlisting 10 Oldhammer kits I’d love to see remastered and rereleased—carefully, respectfully, and without Workshop killing the goose that lays the golden eggs. The whole point is you can do a few trips into the vault each year without commissioning new art, writing new rules, or burning money on fresh plastic tooling. Roll up, roll up: give us a short, sharp hit of classic sculpts, then put them back on the shelf until next time. I run through picks that make sense for The Old World’s return (and a few that are pure, glorious indulgence): the Warhammer Quest Elf Ranger by Jez Goodwin, the terrifyingly impractical Empire War Wagon, the Morrheim Freelance Knight, and a Wood Elf Eagle Rider conversion that defined “you can just build your own thing” for a generation. Then I drift into 40K and Chaos weirdness with metal Warp Spiders, the Realms of Chaos Champion of Slaanesh (yes, that bit), and even an Epic-scale Nurgle Plague Tower because I’m in charge now. I finish on the Halfling Hot Pot, the original 1989 Greater Daemon of Tzeentch, and Gary Morley’s Orc Lord’s Lair—because picking just one of those goblins is like asking an MP to pick a favourite dogging spot.
