About This Video

Hey loves—today I’m walking you through my literal everyday errands/work makeup routine. This is the exact face I’ve been wearing back to the office because… you see my skin, yeah, no. I wanted something that looks polished but still very realistic, and I’m also trying to get back into doing my makeup well without it feeling like pressure. The goal is soft, matte, “skin” that you can do in about 10–15 minutes (mine takes longer when I’m filming, obviously). My biggest stress is always my brows, but the actual base is super simple. I start with the Danessa Myricks Blurring Balm Powder (the tinted one, shade 8.5) because it’s been a game changer for work days, but I personally don’t wear it alone—I layer my Urban Decay Face Bond on top for a better mix for my complexion and undertone issues. Then I go in lightly with Too Faced Born This Way concealer (I don’t try to get super bright under the eyes), tap on setting powder without baking, and add depth back with a pressed powder (I’ve been testing Charlotte Tilbury and it matches my complexion really well). I set everything with All Nighter, finish with Maybelline Lifter Liner, Sky High mascara, and Topicals Slick Salve because my lips stay dry. If I want “a little extra” for errands, conferences, or weekends, I pop on Fenty Kilowatt—Ginger Binge/Moscow Mule—on the high points and a touch on my nose.
