Honestly, the minute my scalp sweats, it’s a wrap—especially when it’s cold outside and my hair crinkles back up. For travel, I’ll flat iron and add big curls so it looks smooth for a couple days, and once it starts reverting, I’ll wet it and let it do what it’s going to do. I’m also trying not to overdo heat because I don’t want to damage my hair.
