Good afternoon, guys—this vlog is basically my January wrapped up, but in real life: Costa Rica nights, solo exploring, and then a whole baggage delay situation once I landed in Trinidad. I take you with me to Tamarindo (yes, I’m still working on the pronunciation because my Spanish is horrible), where I grab food, test the happy hour situation, and just walk the strip. It’s giving soft life, but also I’m still me, so I’m moving seats because the sun is too hot, ordering a “one big nice glass,” and trying not to let the iguanas stress me out. I also bring you through my little vacation makeup moment in the Costa Rica heat—nothing too much, very subtle, but still cute. Then it’s resort days: spa/massage, mud bath plans, pool reading, hammocks, and me realizing I should’ve been taking advantage of how nice everything was. And then boom—travel reality hits: I leave Costa Rica, head to Trinidad for work, and my checked bag doesn’t make it. I’m talking through what I did (and didn’t) pack in my carry-on, how I’m handling it, and what I’m doing to get through meetings with what I have. Also… we need a separate conversation about that hair because the tangling was actually unbelievable.
