So I’m walking you through a mini haul of everything I ordered, and then we actually place the pieces around the apartment to see what the vibe is giving in real time. I focused on “less is more” updates that make a big impact: cozy scents (because we love when the apartment smells amazing), simple decor, and functional pieces that still look polished. I added neutral, minimalist fake decor books (and I show you how easy they are to assemble), a throw blanket to make the space feel less echoey, and a blackout back door curtain to cover my blinds because the way they were looking was very untidy… and it’s just not giving. The star of the refresh is the ottoman—super easy to assemble, really spacious, and honestly I’m mad I didn’t order it sooner. Even with a little cord situation that annoyed me, the final setup feels more put together and more “me,” and I’m happy with how everything came out.
