Motorcycle ride through the highlands of ICELAND [S4 - E2]

August 31st, 2022: What an eventful day this was! I started my day at Skjöldólfsstadir Guesthouse and rode straight to the beginning of my 4km hike to Studlagil Canyon. It was every bit as stunning as I had imagined! I continued my ride via road F907 to Sænautasel Turf House in the Icelandic highlands, a really unique spot to have delicious pancakes and coffee for lunch. Continuing along Möðrudalsleið to Fjallakaffi, which is the cafe/guesthouse in Iceland located at the highest altitude (469 meters above sea level). The wind really picked up at this point! I fought my way riding sideways to Námaskarð, a geothermal area close to Myvatn, where I camped and enjoyed a really nice sunset that evening. This day gave me SO many impressions, and I had so much fun!
