Solo Motorcycle Adventure in La Gomera on a Honda Transalp XL750 [E8-S11]

20-22. November 2025: My motorcycle adventure continues as I head to La Gomera. After swapping my T7 for a Honda Transalp 750XL in Tenerife, I board the ferry to the "Green Island." This motorcycle trip is a total contrast to the dry East, featuring the vertical canyons of Garajonay and the mist-covered cliffs of Mirador de Abrante. Come along for this atmospheric, and somewhat wet motorcycle ride through some of the oldest peaks of the Canary Islands. Highlights of the Ride: 🏍️ The Island Hop: Trading the desert for the jungle and putting the Honda Transalp 750XL to the test. 🧗 Heroic Agriculture: Discovering the Ethnographic Park and the "heroic" effort it took to carve thousands of hand-built stone terraces into near-vertical cliffs. ☁️ Mirador de Abrante: Standing on a glass skywalk 400 meters straight above the valley floor to witness the mystical "sea of clouds." 🍯 The Last Port: Exploring San Sebastián, the historic stopover for Christopher Columbus, and refuelling with local pork glazed in traditional Gomeran palm honey. 🤝 This trip is a collaboration with Canary Ride & Canary Ride Tenerife.
