22. November 2025: It’s my second day on La Gomera, and the weather is finally clearing up. Today, I'm taking the bike up into the peaks of Garajonay National Park to see the ancient laurel forest and looking out over the massive canyons that shaped the island's unique history. But solo motorcycle travel isn't always perfect. Between a rough night's sleep, some unexpected hotel room bugs, and a poor choice at the self-serve dinner buffet, today's motorcycle trip became a good reminder to slow down, accept the low-energy days, and just enjoy the motorcycle ride for what it is.
