What’s good, everybody—this one is my blind reaction to the OFFICIAL trailer for FINAL DESTINATION: BLOODLINES, and I’m not gonna lie… it’s been a long time since we’ve gotten anything from this franchise. I jump into the trailer details first: it’s hitting theaters (and IMAX) May 16th, and the setup is wild—Stephanie’s getting these violent recurring nightmares, heads back home, and tries to find the one person who can break the cycle before her whole family gets caught in Death’s “twisted sense of justice.” The trailer had that classic Final Destination domino-effect energy that made the first two or three movies so effective—like, it made you scared to drive behind trucks hauling wood, or be around construction, or even exist near anything that can become a chain reaction. And when dude stepped on that glass? Yeah… I felt that in my soul. Took me right back to being a kid with glass in my foot—instant pain memory unlocked. Overall, it looks like the story is looping back to the beginning—like it all started with grandma—and I’m actually hype because it feels like a real puzzle again. Warner Bros might’ve did one with a good script… and that’s not something I say lightly.
