I want this movie to be good so Sam Wilson can keep building his own legacy as Captain America, not just live in Steve’s shadow. I stayed off Twitter and avoided leaks, but I already knew certain big pieces were coming (yeah… Red Hulk), so this was all about seeing the tone, the writing, and how they’re setting up the bigger story. We get Harrison Ford stepping in as Ross (rest in peace to the original), and I actually feel really good about that choice—he’s got the presence for it. The teaser plays with the idea of making Captain America an official military position, and if you know the comics, you know that road gets messy real quick. I also clocked Isaiah Bradley showing up, and that whole “Isaiah going after the president” moment has me questioning connections back to the show and what’s really going on with manipulation, control, and who’s pulling strings. Overall, it felt like more than a teaser—tons of info without spoiling the whole plot—and it gave me hope Marvel can get back to that stronger style of writing again.
