We had “28 Days Later” (excellent) and “28 Weeks Later” (really good continuation), so seeing this as the next chapter had me locked in from the jump. The trailer pacing was wild too—two minutes that legit felt like 30 seconds. Between the visuals, the tension, and that voiceover that had me like “yo, shut up,” it kept switching gears in a way that made everything feel off-kilter on purpose. What I pulled from it is bigger than just zombies. It looks like years of survival turned into fractured humanity—small societies trying to farm, fish, hunt, and keep it together, while other groups feel straight up cult-like, claiming different parts of the world. The infected look extra freakish here—almost emaciated—like the borders and separation changed what they’ve become over time. And I end it with the real question: could you survive this? Not just the years—could you survive the first couple weeks without doing something dumb like making noise, tripping, or forgetting something simple and getting rampaged?
