Today is Skull Sunday, which basically means: grab a skull mould, grab your resin, and let’s go play. In this video I make two skulls by filling them with epoxy resin and chunky bits of sea glass, and I’m doing it as part of the Skull Sunday collaboration I host with Kaz from The Dragon’s Cave. The whole vibe is whimsical-but-a-bit-spooky (the best combo), and I’m aiming for that glowy, beach-treasure look where the glass catches the light inside the skull. I talk you through the build as I go—how I layer the sea glass so it doesn’t all sink into one sad pile, how I pour in stages, and what I watch for to keep the piece looking crisp rather than cloudy.
