Watercolor Portrait painting inspired by Klimt & Great Gatsby

In this video you'll see the step by step process of how I paint a portrait in a mixed media painting technique with watercolors as a base, colored pencils for refining details in the portrait and gouache for the shimmering golden patterns in the background and on the dress. I was inspired by Gustav Klimt painting and the style of Great Gatsby/ 1920's fashion style. Suplies Paper: Arches, Hot pressed, 100% cotton Paint: For the skin tones I have used Yellow ochre, Buff Titanium and some Naples Yellow. For background, Prussian blue and indigo.
