In this video I’m closing out my Winter Project Use It Up finale—my seasonal project pan that focuses on non-makeup products like hair, body, shower, skincare, nails, and fragrance. I’m updating you on the last handful of items that were still lingering after my mid-January check-in, and I’m sharing what I finished, what I didn’t, and why I’m totally okay with that. I also talk through how these products fit into my real routine—like washing my hair 4–5 times a week because I swim at the gym most mornings, and how I decant bigger products into smaller containers so they actually get used. I finished up some really satisfying basics (like a classic winter hand soap, an eye cream that had been open forever, a lip balm that felt like a “special” kind of empty, and a super rich Trader Joe’s hand cream I moved to my bedside). For nails, I met my goal of using a set from my Aora semi-cured gel strips. And then—I had to pop back in during editing because I forgot to update my two fragrance goals. I didn’t hit either 60-use target, but I made strong progress (50 uses on my Dossier perfume and 48 on my SDJ 76 gym mist). Overall, I hit 12 out of 15 goals (80%), and I’m already excited to shop my stash and build my Spring Use It Up next.
